    BachLoyalist.com - Other Brass

While there is much attention to Bach Stradivarius trumpet, trombones, and mouthpeices there were other Bach brass instruments and accessories that were produced through the years.  This page attempts to capture some of the relatively "rare" Bach related items.

If you have any additional information to share, please contact us through the link at the top of each page of the BachLoyalist.com.

Bach Accessories

This is the earliest Bach mutes that I have ever seen.  It is labeled as:

MASTER MUTE

V.B.C.
TRADEMARK

Vincent Bach Corp.

237 East 41st Street New York

This mute would date from the period of 1922 to 1928.  The address above refers to the factory that can be found at this link.  Most likely Back simply had another manufacturer build these, but had his name applied.  (stencil mutes just like stencil horns)

Bach Cases

This a trombone case label from Hans Bach (Vincent's brother) which owned and operated a music store in New York at the same time Vincent was making instruments.
