A great example of the earliest known (1924) New York Mouthpiece mouthpiece packaging used when shipping to customers.
Postmaster: return if not delivered to
Vincent Bach Corp.
237 East 41st Street
New York City, U.S.A
In this mouthpiece box, was a Vincent Bach Corp. 5A mouthpiece. While it can not be confirmed as the same from 1924, the markings would indicate it was from the same time period.

I have an early New York trumpet mouthpiece, size 6, with a small capital M stamped on the throat portion, just under the cup. What does the M indicate? Thanks! – Don
I’ve not seen that marking before. More than likely an indication of the back bore configuration.
