I'm looking to buy a second hand Bach Strad. Someone is offering a Bach with a lead pipe serial # B96492. What model and year is this? Thanks, JB

from the serial number you porvided, this is most likely a BACH student line trumpet. Have the seller show you the bell engraving, that will answer the question... or at least you know if it is a Bach Strad bell section on a student body...
